NUOVO DECRETO MIGRANTI<\/span><\/h3>\n

L\u2019APPELLO DI TERRE DES HOMMES: \u201cGARANTIRE PROTEZIONE e diritti A chi si trova in condizioni di estrema vulnerabilit\u00e0”<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u201cEsprimiamo forte<\/em> preoccupazione per l\u2019impatto che il recente Decreto 2\/1\/2023 n.1 recante disposizioni urgenti per la gestione dei flussi migratori sta gi\u00e0 avendo sulle operazioni di salvataggio, con particolare riferimento alla condizione dei minori non accompagnati e, pi\u00f9 in generale di persone che presentano una condizione fisica o psichica di estrema fragilit\u00e0.\u201d<\/em> Dichiara Federica Giannotta, Responsabile Advocacy e programmi Italia di Terre des Hommes<\/strong>, l\u2019ONG che dal 2011 \u00e8 presente nei luoghi di sbarco con il progetto FARO<\/strong>, per garantire assistenza, protezione e supporto psicosociale ai minori migranti e alle loro famiglie.<\/p>\n

La disposizione secondo cui la nave \u00e8 tenuta a raggiungere \u2018senza ritardo\u2019 il porto sicuro assegnato, con divieto di potersi dedicare a ulteriori salvataggi di persone in condizioni di bisogno di cui \u00e8 a conoscenza, \u00e8 un primo punto che fa riflettere.<\/p>\n

A ci\u00f2 si aggiunge il tema dell\u2019assegnazione del porto sicuro, prontamente comunicato alla nave di salvataggio in citt\u00e0 lontane che implicano anche giorni di navigazione per poter essere raggiunte.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Quattro sono i giorni di mare che separano le due navi Geo Barents di MSF (con 73 migranti a bordo<\/strong> di cui 16 minori<\/strong>) e Ocean Viking di SOS Mediterran\u00e9e (con 37 migranti a bordo<\/strong>), dal porto sicuro di Ancona, citt\u00e0 indicata per l\u2019approdo della nave.<\/p>\n

Il nuovo quadro regolamentare che disciplina l\u2019attivit\u00e0 di search and rescue non sembra volere tenere in conto della fragilit\u00e0 e dei bisogni umani delle persone salvate, costrette ad affrontare interminabili ore in condizioni di vulnerabilit\u00e0 non solo fisica ma anche giuridica<\/strong>, dal momento che le neo-procedure costringono a rimandare di giorni l\u2019assegnazione di un l\u2019assenza di un tutore per i minori e l\u2019accesso alle opportune cure ed assistenza per chi \u00e8 pi\u00f9 fragile.<\/p>\n
