The work of Terre des Hommes in LIBYA<\/span><\/h1>\n

Terre des Hommes has been in Libya since 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Years of devastation caused by the ongoing conflict have led the Libyan population to live in dramatic conditions of insecurity and vulnerability. Today, almost one and a half million people are in need of humanitarian assistance<\/strong>. The war has led to the destruction of a high number of hospitals and schools. The country is also a significant transit point for migration routes to Europe, with over 12% of the population composed of immigrants.<\/p>\n

We have organized specialized rehabilitation pathways and provided essential therapeutic care to children with severe conditions.<\/strong> We are collaborating to support COVID-19 vaccination efforts<\/strong>, strengthen health centers, and enhance protection services for the most vulnerable groups.<\/p>\n
