Vivono senza acqua corrente nella campagna vicino a Idappadi, nel distretto di Salem: un pugno di case in muratura e capanne di foglie di banano, in mezzo a macerie e rifiuti, dove fra gli uomini persistono problemi di violenza e alcolismo.
