How is our organization made up?
The Terre des Hommes Italia Foundation has a streamlined structure made up of professionals, led by the board of directors and permanent committee. We are a non-governmental organization born from the international Terre des Hommes movement founded by the human rights activist Edmond Kaiser in Lausanne in 1960. Since 1994 it has been a Foundation based in Milan, whose statutory bodies are the Permanent Committee and the Council of ‘administration. Its streamlined structure allows it to respond quickly to humanitarian emergencies, in line with its values and mission.
What are the tax benefits of donations for individuals?
Since 2018, monetary donations from natural persons are deductible at a rate of 30% up to 30,000 euros (art. 83 paragraph 1 of Legislative Decree 117/2017) or alternatively they are deductible up to a limit of 10% of the total declared income (art. 83 paragraph 2 of Legislative Decree 117/2017).

For organizations and companies, the donation is deductible within the limit of 10% of the total declared income (art. 83 paragraph 2 of Legislative Decree 117/2017).
